For over 30 years Reverend Robert B. Jones, Sr. has been a champion of American Roots Music and Stories. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Europe and the message has always been the same--that traditional American songs and stories have much to teach us. We can learn a great deal about where we've been, who we are and where we are going.

Rev. Robert Jones is a great performer, and a wonderful addition to any festival or concert series. He has been a featured performer at venues as varied as the National Storytelling Festival, Jonesborough, TN, the Chicago Blues Festival, MerleFest, Wilkesboro, NC and the Lutherhaus, Osnabruck, Germany.
Rev. Jones also delivers gospel performances on occasion with his wife of 25 years, Sister Bernice Jones.
In addition to his performances Robert is known for his educational workshops. His clients include The Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn, MI, the Universitty of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, University of Massachusetts, and Jorma Kaukonen's "Fur Peace Guitar Ranch".

Robert Jones is a native Detroiter and he has played for a wide variety of groups and causes, including--YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, Focus HOPE, the NAACP, the Grey Panthers, Habitat For Humanity in Michigan and Mississipi, the ACLU, Empty Bowls, Freedom House of Detroit, MI, and others.
